Big B’s “Fool’s Gold” Collaborative Release!

Big B has revealed that his forthcoming album, Fool’s Gold, will be released under Suburban Noize Records, featuring a slew of guest appearances. Currently scheduled for an April 2nd release, let’s read more on an album set to feature Slightly Stoopid and Dirty Heads, among many more…

In addition to contributions from Slightly Stoopid and Dirty Heads, Big B’s new album Fool’s Gold will also feature guest appearances by Pink, Butch Walker, and Colt Ford as well as members of legendary punk outfits NOFX and Pennywise.

Did you ever think you’d see Pink next to some of these names in the punk and reggae community? Here’s what Big B had to say about acquiring Pink, as well as the reggae and punk living legends…

“When it came time to put together this record I just had a ton of good friends that asked to make music with me. Pink is a good friend of mine and we always wanted to do something together, but the timing never worked out because of her insane schedule. For this album everything just worked out,” said Big B. “Pink had the time to work on a track together with Butch Walker. Byron from Pennywise and El Hefe from NOFX both swung by the studio to help out. I just had all these people I’m friends with that came down to the studio to collaborate with me on some music.”

Working with Big B on Fool’s Gold was producer Jim Perkins, who has sat behind the boards on the Las Vegas singer/songwriter’s last three albums. Together the duo’s musical chemistry has produced some of Big B’s best material and they even won an Emmy Award in 2012 for “Promotion: Program Promo – Image”, during the Madison Square Garden Summer Block Party Image from May 28, 2011.

With the accolades rolling in for Big B, the upcoming album, featuring the aforementioned guest stars could only elevate his status in the music industry further.
