C-Money & the Player’s Inc., the side project of C-money from Slightly Stoopid, will be hitting the road for the next month. The group will be traveling around the west coast with another Slightly Stoopid member’s side project as support! Read all the details inside! 
Christofer “C-Money” Welter, best known for his work in John Brown’s Body playing the keys and trumpet, and his work as the keyboardist, initially, and trumpet player for Slightly Stoopid, is one of the most innovative, creative, and rising musicians in the business today.
While in John Brown’s Body, C-Money recorded four full-length albums with the band, and toured with them for 8 years. In 2006 he joined Slightly Stoopid, adding a dimension and element to the band, taking the group to a another level. In 2010 C-Money finally release his debut, full-length solo effort entitled Family Business.The album with its diverse sound and plethora of guest artists, truly showed the talent and depth of C-Money’s musicianship and professionalism.
Playing over 200 shows a year with Slightly Stoopid, C-Money spends tons of time traveling the nation, performing live. Before getting back on the road with with Slightly Stoopid this march, C-Money has found the time to perform a small run of shows with his own band, C-Money & the Player’s Inc., taking the group through California, Oregon and into Washington.
Opening the show on most nights of the tour will be Agent 22, the project of Tom “Thos” Griesgraber and Ryan “RyMo” Moran, Slightly Stoopid’s longtime beatmaster. Slightly hard to pin down, Agent 22’s music is based in rock, but blends in jazz, funk, world and classical styles. While best known for Chapman Stick and drums respectively, both Tom and Ryan make use of multiple instruments.
Individually the two have gained much respect throughout the music industry. Rymo has spent years with groups like Slightly Stoopid and the B-Side Players, while Thos has toured and recorded with some of the industry’s most respected instrumentalists. In the midst of their respected careers Agent 22 “remains a focal point for their shared exploration of that most intangible art form; music.”
