The project pulls in heavyweights —Xzibit and Cypress Hill’s B-Real, Demrick’s partners in the rap collective Serial Killers — cementing the LP as both a showcase of his own voice and a bridge to the legends who paved the way.
The momentum has been building. Last year, Demrick crisscrossed the U.S. with Jarren Benton and Locksmith before heading to Europe alongside Xzibit. Coyote, meanwhile, are gearing up for their own world stage, joining Xzibit on a 21-date global tour starting this month. “Tonya Harding” feels like the kind of record designed to put everyone involved into a bigger orbit.
