Danny Pease and the Regulators aka DPR is set to release their newest album, a seventrack EP, entitled High Proof on October 4th, 2013 at Maximum Capacity, in Chicopee Massachusetts. The EP contains an element for every genre including rock, reggae, hip-hop and ska.
This EP will be the follow-up to Sound, which was released in 2009. High Proof will also showcase two of the newest members of DPR including Matt Penza on drums and Jeff Katz on lead guitar. Produced by Angelo Quaglia at AQ Creative Production Studios, in Chicopee, MA.
The album contains guest appearances from Catalyst (The Professors) and horn players Billy Kottage (Reel Big Fish-Trumpet), Kai Sandoval (Eight Feet Tall-Trumpet) and Stephanie Wieseler (Kina Zore-Tenor Sax).
As for any fans trying to get an early look at the album, DPR will be on the Locals Only segment on Lazer 99.3 with Pat Kelly, the week of the release. The band will also be in the Lazer studios showing off a few new songs, as well as talking to fans, giving away merchandise, and tickets to the release party.
