Duane Stephenson Releases 3rd Album

On Tuesday, September 23rd, Jamaican Singer-Songwriter, Duane Stephenson, will release his third studio album, Dangerously Roots via Kongstar Records/Greensleeves. Plus a new music video paying tribute to Bunny Wailer

After spending the past three years touring as the lead vocalist with the Original Wailers, Duane is releasing his first solo album since the 2010 release of Black Gold. His debut album came in 2008 with From August Town & on September 23rd, 2014, Duane will release his 3rd solo album, Dangerously Roots.

The new album includes a slew of guest appearances, starting with production as he enlists Jamaican heavyweights: Clive Hunt, Dean Fraser, Christopher Birch, Phillip ‘Winta’ James and Donovan Germain. In addition to the producers, vocalists, Tarrus Riley, I-Octane, Lutan Fyah and Mutabaruka add their impact to the 16 track album.

Duane has toured and performed at major stage shows in his native country (Reggae Sumfest & Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival), North America (Sierra Nevada’s World Music Festival), Europe (Rotterdam Reggae Festival), South America and the rest of the Caribbean.
