To start off the New Year, famed actor & musician, Eddie Murphy, has debuted his second Reggae track! “Oh Jah Jah” is set to release via VPAL Music on January 27th, though fans can now listen to this new single on Soundcloud.

Back in July of 2013, Eddie Murphy, semi-retired from acting, released a collaboration with Snoop Lion titled “Red Light.” In September of that year, Murphy released the music video for that track, which can be seen below. In November Murphy released two more singles, with the R&B-Soul tracks “Promise (You Won’t Break My Heart)” and “Temporary”. Around that time there was also word that Murphy was putting together a new multi-genre solo album called 9 that would drop early in the next year.
Well 2014 came and went, and while a ton of excellent new releases came out, Murphy released nothing. Now 2015, it seems Murphy may be back on the path to releasing a record. Following “Red Light” Murphy is set to release his 4th single and 2nd Reggae track, “Oh Jah Jah.” Available on iTunes via VPAL Music on January 27th, fans can now listen to this new single on Soundcloud.
