Ethan Tucker Drops New Single ‘Bad Man’ Featuring Sean The Shaman

Singer-songwriter Ethan Tucker has returned with his latest single “Bad Man.”

The conscious track features emcee, spoken word artist, DJ and activist Sean The Shaman. Tucker tapped Grammy-winning producer Mario Caldato Jr. for the song. Mario C, as many fans know him, is revered for his work with Beastie Boys, Jack Johnson, and Manu Chao.  “Bad Man,” which you can listen to below, was inspired by a dark recurring dream Tucker experienced that reflected the violence that many face in neighborhoods all over the world to this day.

“We’re all dealing with so much – violence on the news, injustice everywhere, and this nonstop wave of media that messes with your head,” the singer explained via press release. “‘Bad Man’ is about not losing yourself in all that. It’s about staying grounded even when you want to run.”

“Bad Man” marks the the second single from Tucker this year, following the release of “Fly Back Home” in February. 2025 has been good to Tucker thus far, as his song “High Time” was featured on the hit Netflix series Ransom Canyon.

Tucker released his debut album, Misunderstood, in 2015. A year later he came on many people’s radar via NBC’s popular talent competition showThe Voice. “Bad Man” sets the stage for Tucker’s forthcoming album, set for release in early 2026.
