One of the seminal bands in the reggae-rock community, HB Surround Sound, has had a busy year in 2012. With a fully-booked touring schedule the past six months, the band will end the year on the road again!
After supporting tours with Sublime With Rome, Pepper, the Dirty Heads, Matisyahu and many more, HB Surround Sound will once again share the stage with a big act before bringing in the New Year. This time around, HB Surround Sound will be supporting their good friend Rome Ramirez, from Sublime With Rome.
Rome will be embarking on a solo tour across the United States beginning in November, and the acts that have been selected as touring support read as a “who’s who” in the reggae-rock scene today.
The supporting roles include the aforementioned HB Surround Sound, KAT alongside her 17th Street Recording Studio all-star backing band, and Hawaiian singer/songwriter sensation, Anuhea. This will be Rome’s first-ever solo tour since the artist began playing locally in Orange County nearly five years ago. Also, add on the fact that HB Surround Sound just earned the titled, “Best Rock Band” of 2012 by the OC Weekly, and these shows should be top-tier live performances.
With states from both coasts being featured, these tickets will be tougher to purchase compared to the massive venues Sublime With Rome typically plays in. Most of the venues’ capacity will be topped off at 600-800 tickets available. So, time is of the essence!
