Reggae-rock favorites Iration have announced their 11th studio album, Where It All Began, set for release May 1, 2026.
The album announcement arrives alongside the band’s new single “Shoyu,” offering fans another preview of the upcoming record. The track continues Iration’s signature blend of laid-back reggae grooves, melodic hooks, and island-inspired influences that have defined their sound for nearly two decades.
Frontman Micah Pueschel explained that the new album reflects the group’s origins and the musical influences that brought the band together.
“For us, this record is about honoring the music that inspired us to start the band in the first place. It’s a nod to the records we grew up listening to, the islands that shaped us, and the feeling that made us want to make music together.”
Formed in Isla Vista, California, Iration built their fanbase through a mix of reggae, rock, and pop influences while drawing heavily from the Hawaiian upbringing of several band members. Over the years, the band has accumulated over one billion streams, multiple Billboard Reggae chart-topping releases, and a reputation as one of the most successful independent reggae-rock touring acts in the United States.
