There’s a new Kottonmouth Kings album & tour kicking off this month. To start things off, on Friday, July 8th, Kottonmouth Kings will be performing a live webcast stream at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach, CA where you can watch the show & chat with the members back stage.
The album will be released on Tuesday, July 19th and will feature a guest appearance by Jahred from (Hed)pe on the track “Down 4 Life”. The album was recorded in Burbank, CA with producer Mike Kumagai.
The Kottonmouth Kings have managed to tap into a powerful musical force field on “Sunrise Sessions” that pools together elements of hip-hop, reggae, and dubstep, along with breezy acoustics. Sonically the album is driven by a ying-yang of styles that meld together in perfect symmetry. On one side of the album listeners are greeted by stoney melodies, catchy hooks and breezy acoustics that exemplify the feel good nature of their California lifestyle, while the other side serves up some blistering hip-hop bangers.
To celebrate the release of their new album, KmK will kick off their “Welcome To Stonetown” Tour tomorrow on July 8th, at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach, CA. On this night, KmK will be streaming a live webcast of their performance. The performance will be broadcast online at www.KottonmouthKings.com beginning at 8:00pm PST. The band will be chatting with fans online from backstage, before the band takes the stage to give fans a special live performance of tracks from their upcoming new album, “Sunrise Sessions”.
