In ’97 The LBDAS emerged as a powerhouse, fusing elements of dub, reggae, and punk into their distinctive sound. Their debut album, “Right Back,” showcased their musical prowess. Despite facing setbacks with the departure of members shortly after their debut, the LBDAS persevered, releasing their sophomore album, “Wonders of the World,” in 2001. The album boasted standout tracks like “Sunny Hours,” featuring will.i.am from The Black Eyed Peas, which also found success as the theme song for the hit TV show “Joey,” a spin-off of the beloved series “Friends.”

Through triumph and tragedy, Wilson, Gaugh, and the LBDAS have remained steadfast in their commitment to creating music that resonates with audiences on a profound level. And although members have changed throughout the years, their journey serves as a testament to the enduring power of music to heal, inspire, and unite communities across the globe. As they continue to push boundaries and defy expectations, the legacy of Sublime lives on through the indomitable spirit of the Long Beach Dub Allstars.
