On July 8th, the Mad Caddies’ will release a new 7” for the leading track off their new record. Pressed on wax at 45RPM, the vinyl features “Brand New Scar,” on side-A. The B-side is a real gem for longtime fans as the band re-recorded the classic song “Distress,” from their very first album, Quality Softcore.

Infusing the band’s musical expansion over the past decade, they have reworked the song, incorporating the group’s love of Dixieland, for the aptly titled new rendition “Dixtress.

Following that release, the band will return to Europe for the summer. Beginning July 17th, the band will play several music festivals, performing 12 consecutive days through 4 countries.

Continuing on tour during the end of August, the Mad Caddies play another US leg with a week long run through California before heading out on the Southeast leg in September. After a show in Atlanta, the Mad Caddies play 6-nights around Florida before ending their list of tour-dates up in Canada with a spot at the KOI Music Festival.
