On November 2nd, 2016, Salt Cathedral released their latest track “Unraveling” featuring world-renowned reggae and hip-hop artist Matisyahu. Salt Cathedral is a Brooklyn-based indie, electro-pop duo formed by Juliana Ronderos and Nicolas Losada.
The pair, originally from Colombia, have been making waves with their signature brand of dreamy, indie-pop. They have a sound that is simultaneously subtle and striking. The collaboration on “Unraveling” with fellow Brooklynite Matisyahu breaks the mold for both artists, but the outcome is an undeniably catchy song.
For Matisyahu, it’s his first track ever recorded with a woman, stemming from traditions held in his Hassidic beliefs.
