Michael Franti and Byron Bluesfest Producer Peter Nobel raised over $25,000 dollars while hosting a benefit concert on April 20th 2011. The concert was held at Byron Bay Northern Hotel in Australia, leading to a night filled with music, love and a whopping $26,747.60 dollars! The money will go towards helping disaster relief for the Queensland Australia Flood, Christchurch earthquake and Japanese tsunami victims.
The evening included an international collective of musicians including Michael Franti & Spearhead, as well as the The Aggrolites among others.
