The festival will be held at the Worcester Palladium, right outside of Boston, and feature the likes of Toots and the Maytals, The Bouncing Souls, Fishbone, The Pietasters, and The Planet Smashers, among others. In addition to the music, this all ages event will feature food, craft beer, and merchandise vendors as well. Tickets are currently on sale for $49.00 each. Cranking and Skanking will become the second annual music festival held by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones in the Boston area. Their Hometown Throwdown, held on December 28th (now officially Mighty Mighty Bosstones’ Day in Boston), has been going strong since 2004 with only three years missed when the Bosstones went on hiatus.
