Fresh off his Live Artist of the Year nomination, The Mike Pinto Band is back on tour, The Truth Serum Tour that is which was aptly named after the group checked out an uber-interesting documentary on absinthe! Starting at Winston’s in Ocean Beach with a two-set show on Jan 20th, Mike Pinto Band will be cruising up the California Coast before hitting up Arizona, Texas, and Louisiana. The band will be back in CA to play back-to-back shows at the infamous SLO Brew in San Luis Obispo with fellow reggae-rock bands, Iration and Seedless.
Mike Pinto Band released their new EP The West is Still Wild on September 6 and have been jamming it live for fans ever since. The band has been promoting their new EP multiple tours including prior to the release on the Turn You On Tour during summer and after the EP drop on The West is Still Wild Tour this past fall. After a quick holiday break, the band will continue on spreading their reggae-rock lovin’ sound on the Truth Serum Tour.
With punk, ska, surf tunes, Mike Pinto Band incorporates a fusion of music into their reggae-rock as well as acoustic vibes. With drum and bass hailing from Long Beach, Pinto’s talent for storytelling, and the addition of keyboards and horns, fans can expect a fun live show of dancing and rockin’ the night away!
Mike Pinto Band said that they plan on releasing more dates in the Pacific Northwest and more but take a look to see if the band is coming to a venue near you!
