After a 5 year hiatus, San Francisco’s Audiodub has returned with plans to drop their fourth studio album titled The City. The albums titled track is available for FREE download this week and we have some details on their January 12th, 2016 album release…

“The City” Background:
“The City” is the title track off Audiodub’s fourth studio album. “It’s a party song about the city we call home, San Francisco, and the times we’ve had there” shares guitarist/vocalist Dustin Finney. “This song is all about letting loose and blowing it out big on the weekends.”
After a 5 year hibernation, Audiodub got back into the studio to record their new album The City which they’re touting as their best work to date. This album features the newest member of their band, Sid Slater, on guitar, keys and supporting vocals. They’ve also incorporated tons of horns, digital sounds, and harmonica in the album for a completely unique and original sound.
“On our fourth album we decided to get back to the roots and focus more on the reggae instead of the punk. It makes for a great album to play at a BBQ or on the beach”, continues Dustin. “We did three original songs acoustically and placed them throughout the album as well to give you a sense of what Audiodub sounds like when we’re writing songs or hanging around the campfire.”
The City will release on all media outlets, both physical and digital, on January 12, 2016 and Audiodub is promoting the release with a show in San Francisco on 2.19.2016 at the Elbo Room.

Audiodub Background:
Formed as a Sublime tribute band in 2006, San Francisco’s Audiodub quickly adopted the rock/reggae format to fit their original material. Since releasing their debut album So Scud in 2008 and its follow-up Daytime TV in 2009, the then trio accumulated a loyal West-Coast following that snowballed into their 3rd studio album of Love No More in 2010. This is where the groups trail went cold as they went on a 5 year hiatus that saw them group returning as a four piece with the addition of Sid Slater, on guitar, keys and supporting vocals. Sid joins Dustin Finney on Guitar/Vocals, Jordan Fezler on Bass and Joe McKane on Drums.
