Ethan Tucker – “Coming Home”
“Coming Home” Background:
Ethan originally wrote “Coming Home” for an undisclosed reggae band, however the song quickly became a signature song at Ethan Tucker acoustic shows with it’s folky grove. “Coming Home” was originally recorded in Ethan’s home, utilizing every room in his house to capture a certain feel. Ethan originally played every instrument on the song and several years later, Ethan Tucker re-recorded this version in Eagle Rock, CA with producer Mario Caldato Jr. (Beastie Boys, Jack Johnson).
This isn’t the first time we’ve featured Ethan Tucker as he has been an established resident inside our FREE MP3 Massive section, since 2011, he’s been giving away his song “What They Say” off his album Lost Between. You can grab that song by clicking HERE!

Ethan Tucker Background:
Ethan Tucker may only be in his early 20s, but he has already made a name for himself in musical circles throughout the world. The Olympia, Washington-born singer-songwriter has been performing since the age of 16 at venues and festivals throughout the U.S. and Canada as well as the Caribbean. Tucker performs and tours both as a solo acoustic artist and with the Ethan Tucker Band. He has over the last year hit the road with G-Love and Special Sauce Jimmy Cliff and MIchael Franti, as well as Slightly Stoopid.
His last album Lost Between, was released in November of 2010, a solo acoustic project with an intimate flavor. Lost Between is his first official album release since his self released CD Take Me to the Mountains which he independently released at the age of seventeen. More recently, Ethan was invited to Michael Franti’s studio in San Francisco for a session that would yield the songs “Cool Kids” and “Crazy Tonite”, the latter which features a guest appearance by Franti himself.
In June Ethan Tucker holed up in the Los Angeles, CA studio of Mario Caldato Jr (Mario C of Beastie Boys) to record 9 additional songs, one of which is the track “Coming Home” delivered exclusively for the first time ever as part of the Pier “Leak of the Week”
