“We’ve been digging Toronto producer Dubmatix since we heard his sounds on our good brothers John Brown’s Body’s album Re-Amplify a few years ago. Naturally we were stoked to have him add his flavor to our rhythm “Love You More” when the time presented itself. The simple message of this song is an appreciation for love and life. Today we would like to send this one out to all our Panda family to express our love and gratitude.”

Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad (PANDA!), is a quintet from Rochester, NY. Their psychedelic roots reggae album “In These Times” made iTunes Best of 2012 list. Over the past six years, PANDA! has performed 800 shows, put out a collection of live albums, and released a roots Americana record titled “Country” (January 2012).
For over six years, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad’s live show has defined the band. Touring relentlessly, the Rochester, NY-based group is sustained by its passion to reinterpret, explore, and expand its music night after night.
As mentioned in our 2013 Most Anticipated Albums article, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad is set to release a new album this Spring or Summer. The currently untitled release was recorded at Rear Window Studio in Brookline, MA with producer Craig “Dub Fader” Welsch (10ft Ganja Plant). The tracks were recorded using vintage instruments. “We had a blast recording this and genuinely feel we captured some of our best work on this collection of songs” says guitarist-vocalist Dylan Savage
