Rooftop Session was recorded and produced in Branson, Missouri at Roller Pro Recording with producer, Greg Roller. With Josh Heinrichs on vocals and rhythm guitar, Lance Sittion on lead guitar, Mick Kline providing bass and keys, and Ian Foreman on the drums, Josh had the help of the regular Ganjah Records band to record.
When The Pier approached Josh about promoting his EP with an MP3 Leak of a song from the EP, he declined & rightly so with the EP only having 5 songs! But Josh fired back and said “I do have a bonus track from the EP that we did not keep if you wanna give that away? It’s a revamp of the ‘Taxi Riddim’ and our own little Missouri homage version of Josey Wales ‘It Haffi Bun’ & J Boog and Jah Maoli Rasta’s ‘Hawaiian Pakalolo’. As well as all the other herb fi bun tunes on this riddim, Mighty Diamonds etc..”

Josh Heinrichs, was the former lead singer and songwriter of the reggae group, Jah Roots & is also the founder & operator of GanJah Records, his own independent label. In 2012, he was nominated for Break-Out Artist of the Year for the 2012 Pier Awards. Josh Heinrichs has also toured successfully as a solo artist, touring the entire USA & Hawaii multiple times.
