Straight out of Tempe, AZ, Katastro is set to celebrate the release of their new album Gentle Predator on Tuesday, Oct 11th. As a tease of what to expect, Katastro gave The Pier a song off their new album for FREE download titled “Move Like Creatures”… Come by here EVERY Sunday for a NEW MP3 Leak of the Week that runs from Sunday to Saturday.
Katastro went to work locally in Phoenix at Novel Motion Recording Studio and took their talents to the Golden State to record at The Den Recorders in Pasadena, CA. The new album Gentle Predator has 7 new songs steadily mixing hip-hop, blues, jazz, rock, and just the right spice of reggae.
Here’s what Katastro had to say about the song “Move Like Creatures”…
“The meaning in the lyrics of, “Move Like Creatures” are meant to be interpreted by the listener, like a lot of other songs we have written in the past. This song in particular depicts a person struggling in an unpleasant relationship or situation with another person, or substance, and keeps reliving it rather than cutting it out of their life completely because of the fear of being left alone and having nothing. “I’m her sin, and she’s my queen, we can’t leave it alone.”
