“Listen Friends is a special song for me. Its an encouraging message to enjoy the time and people who surround us. To ignore the hate going on and focus on the positive things in life. I gave Cas Haley several songs to choose from to sing on and I was stoked he chose this one. You can tell from his verse and harmonies that it was from the soul and he wanted the message to be felt from his end as well.”

Lance Sitton & The Seed Bio/Background:
Lance Sitton has always been the front man of the midwest group The Seed. This time, Lance Sitton had a list of his own solo material to release with this band providing the music to his solo material. Spread the Word, the new album is out April 22 on GanJah Records and will be available everywhere digitally. It features guest appearances by SkillinJah, Josh Heinrichs & Cas Haley.
The album includes 10 songs and as Lance told The Pier “I went over to Joshs house and showed him a couple of tunes and asked if he would help me release it. Now the past couple of months I’ve been writing and recording getting the album ready for April 22nd”
The Seed is a roots, rock, and reggae influenced band originating from Springfield, Missouri. Known for their dynamic live show and sweet melodies, The Seed is no stranger to the music scene. Playing over 300 shows since 2008-current. They have released two studio albums and an EP under the Springfield based record label Beard & Pen Records.
