Of Good Nature “Sit Around” Background:
As the press release reads, Of Good Nature co-wrote “Sit Around” with Zach Fowler of Sun-Dried Vibes and hit the studio with Ted Bowne of Passafire in December 2016 down in St. Petersburg, FL with mastering done by Dave Harris. The group was really pleased and happy working with Ted in his studio in FL as they look forward to recommending his services as they share this new single.
Cody Moore of NoNeed is on saxophone, as he helps breathe life into a track that is otherwise reflective in tone and somewhat dark in its presence. There are good transitions dropping the beat out down to acoustic guitar and back to horns. The production somewhat mirrors the mental roller-coaster of contemplation and reflection. It absolutely feels like a Passafire style of track and fans of Passafire especially would enjoy adding it to their collection
“The song speaks of the anticipation and contemplation that comes along with trying to get our music out to the world,” shares Of Good Nature. “This collaboration pieced together to form something we are very proud to release.”
“Sit Around” doesn’t officially hit digital outlets until June 23rd, which means you’re receiving an advance release of this song for FREE, for this week only. Of Good Nature Background:
Of Good Nature is an indie rock-reggae five piece that was formed in Charlotte, NC in 2011 by front-man, guitarist Cameron Brown and drummer, percussionist Joey Vachon and would later be rounded by Jon Reed on Bass, Brandon Hucks on Trombone and David Hamilton Jr. on Drums. The band released their debut album in 2011 with Just Add Water, followed by the sophomore release of Life Worth Livin’ on October 23rd 2015.
The group has also shared the stage with headliners like Sublime with Rome, Dropkick Murphys, Matt Nathanson, Keller Williams, Blues Traveler, Common Kings, George Porter Jr, PASSAFIRE, Tomorrows Bad Seeds, The Movement, Tribal Seeds, The Supervillains, Ballyhoo! and many others.
