Released on February 4th, Love Situation is exactly how it sounds as your good ol’ fashioned Lovers Reggae album with 17 total tracks. Produced by Dean Fraser for Cannon Productions and assisted by talents such as Shane C. Brown of Juke Boxx Productions, as well as Mitchum Khan Chin and Jordan McClure, the record was mixed by Shane C. Brown along with Romel Marshall and mastering was done by Grammy Award winning engineer Michael Fuller.

Here’s what Tarrus Riley had to say about this week’s FREE song “123 I Love You”: “The track is originally from BB Seaton and the Gaylads’ hit song “ABC” from the late 60’s produced by the grand uncle of my manager Duke Reid. ‘123’ was written by myself and Dean Fraser and produced by Dean, its a special song to me because it’s about expressing opening love to someone that a lot of people find hard to do.”

Tarrus Riley Background:
Tarrus Riley’s foray into music was inevitable. The talented singer and songwriter was always surrounded by music from an early age. His father is veteran reggae singer Jimmy Riley as he is a reggae singer that hails straight from Jamaica.

Riley learned a lot by merely being in the environment of the music business. He caught on very quickly and made his recording debut as a teenager. “I’ve always loved music; I used to deejay but everyone used to encourage me to sing. They used to call me “Singy Singy” because I was always singing,” Riley commented.
In 2004, Tarrus released his debut album, Challenges. “I was fortunate to have recorded my debut album with an independent label out of Miami”.

The secret to his success is quite simple – “when preparation meets opportunity”, stated a self-assured Riley. “I sing for the people – this is the contribution I can make and after I make a song; it isn’t even mine anymore; it belongs to the people.”

Riley has performed on several stages around the world. His performances have drawn credible reviews from the media in the Caribbean, North America, the United States and Europe. He is currently on the road promoting his latest album, Love Situation and you can view his upcoming dates below…
