The Green will release their new single “Liar” this Tuesday, September 11th on Easy Star Records. This is the first new music from the Hawaii-based band since its 2011 album, Ways & Means.
The digital only release includes a dubstep-electro remix of the song “Love & Affection” by producer Billy Van. “Love & Affection (Billy Van Remix)” is this week’s MP3 Leak of the Week!
This track offers a taste of what’s to come when Billy Van joins The Green for the West Coast leg of the Liars & Lovers Tour this fall.
The Green Bio/Background:
The Green exploded onto the scene with their self-titled debut album, named iTunes Best Reggae Album of the Year. Shortly after its release, the Hawaii-based band began a cycle of heavy touring. Flying to the mainland and traveling the country in support of bigger acts, they honed their eclectic blend of reggae and four-part vocal harmonies. The Green’s sophomore album, Ways & Means, was released in the fall of 2011 on Easy Star Records. It spent four-weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Reggae Chart. After playing all 41 dates of Vans Warped Tour 2012, the sextet is ready to embark on their first headlining U.S. tour.
