Thrive“Just Fine” (Feat. Eric Rachmany of Rebelution)

“Just Fine” Background:
“Just Fine,” is a hard-hitting reggae track that was produced by Lewis Richards of 17th Street Recording Studio in Costa Mesa, CA. Producer Lew Richards described the song as “…really tight and new, the drums are more of a modern programmed vibe, there’s some cool ear candy, but very simple sounding. The vocals sound great as Aaron Borowitz and Eric Rachmany blend really well together.”

Thrive’s lead singer and guitarist, Aaron Borowitz told The Pier “…On New Years 2012 during a show we played together in Reno, Nevada, I asked Eric if he might be interested in working with me on a song. I sent an idea for the song with the chorus and a verse and we just went from there.”

Aaron Borowitz continued on, explaining ‘Just Fine’ is a song about working together. Something that is important for the strongest outcome of any goal. We shot ideas back and forth via email and phone calls due to both of our busy schedules. The outcome is what you hear on the track and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.”

Thrive Background:
Since 2008 Santa Cruz based Pop/Rock/ Hybrid-Reggae band Thrive has been paving their path in the music world. With founders Aaron Borowitz (Lead vocals/guitar) and Kenneth Rogers (lead vocals/drums) building the foundation for the band, they are now joined with seasoned saxophonist and vocalist Scott Schipper, bassist Andrew Forgy and most recently multi-instrumentalist talent Matt Masih on keyboards and vocals.

In October 2010 the relatively unknown band put out their album Gratitude Attitude. The album would reach number 4 on the iTunes Reggae Charts and would start the motor for the machine that is called Thrive.

Thrive would build on their success with regional tours with front running reggae artists SOJA, Iration and Tribal Seeds, along with statewide headlining tours on their own and massive shows with other artists including Rebelution, JBoog, The Green and Katchafire.

Here are some upcoming shows in California where you can find Thrive performing live!

June 2nd @ Redwood Mountain Faire. Felton, CA
June 12th @ Mission Tobacco Lounge. Riverside, CA
