Nathan Aurora sent shockwaves through the industry announcing the indefinite pause of IYA TERRA, as he prepared for “The next chapter of my journey.” Now Aurora has returned announcing his new project AURORAWAVE online. The new era will begin when Aurorawave releases their debut single “Meant To Be” drops on January 19th, 2024.
Aurora has also attracted attention over the past year bringing a reggae twist to many harder-edged tunes in the heavy metal and metal core genres through teasers via distribution on Instagram and YouTube.
Aurora states, “Aurorawave invites listeners into a world where diverse influences converge, creating a sound that is uniquely and unmistakably its own. Masterfully harnessing the raw power of heavier genres and intertwining it seamlessly with the smooth cadence of reggae.”
Many questions remain such as who the new band members will be when the first live show will take place, who is producing the music, and who Aurora may be collaborating with on the first few jams.
