Acoustic Singer/Songwriter, Ethan Tucker, is celebrating the release of his new single, “All I Need” that is now available for purchase on iTunes. This is the first release since his first official album, Lost In Between, that was released back in November, 2010. “All I Need” was produced by both Ethan Tucker & Jason Ringelsetter out of Tonic Room Studio in Boise, ID.
When The Pier heard Ethan was releasing a new single, we asked him his thoughts on the song…
“I am really happy with how this recording turned out! I am glad to let people see what I can do with a band and an electric guitar. I actually wrote it on my acoustic guitar while sitting on a beach in Montego Bay, Jamaica watching the locals and tourists mingle. It was great to see how it evolved in the studio from an acoustic song to what it is now. I am working on a new album that “All I Need” will eventually be a part of. I hope to release it in 2012.”
Ethan Tucker may only be in his early 20s, but he has already made a big name for himself in musical circles throughout the U.S. The Olympia, Washington-born singer-songwriter has been performing regularly since the age of 16 at various venues and festivals throughout the Northwest and various other parts of the U.S. as well as Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Tucker has shared the stage with many great acts including Steve Miller, Michael Franti, Cas Haley, Mat McHugh, Mishka, Anuhea and many others. The title track from his album “Take Me to the Mountains” is featured on the 2010 film “Deeper” from Teton Gravity Research (2010).
