Opie Ortiz of Long Beach Dub Allstars Partners With SRH For Limited-Edition Hand-Painted Art Drop & Vinyl Release

Long Beach Dub Allstars frontman Opie Ortiz has partnered with SRH Clothing for an exclusive limited-edition drop of some rare, hand-painted original artwork, collectible figurines, and a vinyl pressing of his first-ever solo album Sound Sensation Vol. 1  under his Opie & Family moniker.

These limited edition art drops allow fans a chance to get an original piece of art from Opie Ortiz. Included in the exclusive SRH drop are 10, one-of-a-kind, hand-painted original art pieces by Ortiz from his “Skull and Waves” painting series, an autographed Opie & Family vinyl, canvas collection fine art prints, rare vinyl 7″ inch singles from Long Beach Dub Allstars, as well as a limited number of resin “Don’t Get Weird Dude”” owl figurines.

The Opie & Family Sound Sensation Vol. 1 vinyl was pressed on 140g vinyl in Translucent Blue and is strictly limited to 250 units. The Opie Ortiz x SRH drop is available now at SRH.COM

“We teamed up with SRH to give ya the chance to own some cool O.G paintings, limited prints and collectibles with the launch of Opie and Family’s ‘Sound Sensation Vol.1’ on vinyl,” said Opie Ortiz. “So here’s your chance to own an original painting, a limited print, or a Mr. Niteowl resin figure to go along with your limited blue vinyl.”

Sound Sensations Vol. 1 is Ortiz’s solo debut after becoming a legendary figurehead within the West Coast reggae-rock scene. Opie & Family’s new album was co-written by Ortiz and The Aggrolites frontman Jesse Wagner, who also produced the work with additional engineering and mixing by Chris Brennan (The Aggrolites, The Expanders). The album is a sonic journey into a vortex of easy-going roots reggae and feel-good vibrations.

Ortiz was a founding member of Long Beach Dub Allstars alongside former original Sublime members Eric Wilson and Bud, as well as Ras-1, Ras MG and Miguel Happoldt. The group picked up the torch and helped usher in the next generation of Reggae-Rock. Last year, Long Beach Dub Allstars returned with a new self-titled album that debuted at #1 on the Billboard Reggae Album Chart. The band is currently in the studio working on its next record.
