Virginia-based trio RDGLDGRN team up with Florida reggae-rock outfit Kash’d Out on their new single “X Games,” a high-energy collaboration that blends alternative, indie pop, hip-hop, and reggae-rock influences into a tightly wound, forward-moving anthem.
“X Games” marks the fifth single from RDGLDGRN’s upcoming album, set for release via Ineffable Records. The pairing highlights RDGLDGRN’s long-standing genre-fluid approach while tapping into Kash’d Out’s laid-back, melody-driven reggae-rock sensibility.
Momentum has continued to build for the band in recent months. Their previous single “Stay With Me”, featuring Little Stranger, received a major placement in Madden NFL 26, introducing RDGLDGRN’s sound to a massive crossover audience through one of gaming’s most visible franchises.
RDGLDGRN’s résumé includes a rare level of mainstream and alternative crossover recognition. The group drew early national attention through their collaboration with Pharrell Williams on “TONY,” which was covered by Rolling Stone and MTV. The band has also performed for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series and made a national television appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
With “X Games,” RDGLDGRN continue to expand their collaborative reach, delivering a track that feels equally suited for festival stages, playlists, and late-summer soundtracks — another confident step forward as they build toward their next full-length release.
