Rock-Reggae Outfit Tribal Seeds Release “Tempest”

San Diego, California Rock-Reggae outfit Tribal Seeds have released their new song “Tempest“.

Hailing from San Diego, California the rock-reggae band has been around since 2005. This was when the Jacobo Brothers (Steven on vocals and Tony-Ray producing) breathed life into their vision. They released their debut album Youth Rebellion on their own. They also started their own label. With this, they pursued a path of creative independence and excellence with each successive addition to their discography.

The group, who now boasts six members, are well known for their spiritually driven, refreshing rock vibe they have infused with their roots style of reggae music.

Their authentic sound has brought them to the forefront of the rock-reggae genre, as their art form has reached people of all ages across the United States, and worldwide.

Tribal Seeds have performed in Mexico, Aruba, Guam, and throughout the United States. Reggae performers like Gregory Isaacs, Julian Marley, Stephen Marley, Matisyahu, Rebelution, SOJA, Steel Pulse, and Sublime with Rome performed on the same bill as them. Additionally, they served as the opening act for artists from the rock, pop, and R&B genres as Taking Back Sunday, Jane’s Addiction, Jason Mraz, MGMT, O.A.R., Pretty Lights, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Cee Lo Green.

At the San Diego Music Awards, their debut CD helped them win the Best World Music category in 2008. Tribal Seeds also took home the Artist of the Year honor at the the same awards show in 2017.
