Mike Love – Love Will Find A Way
Release Date: September 1
Following his 2012 debut record, The Change I’m Seeking
, on September 1st, Hawaii’s Mike Love released his highly anticipated second album. Titled Love Will Find A Way and released on Loves own Love Not War Records, this album was recorded at Soul Sound Studio and Studio Ala Moana in Kane’ohe, O’ahu, Hawai’i.
Fusing the simple rhythms of classic reggae with the complex changes of classical and rock music, Love is quickly becoming known around the world for his captivating Live Looping showcase. Bringing a multitude of influences to the stage, all tied together by the common goal of making the world a better place.
As the press release reads, the album title is also its theme, referring to the idea that unconditional love enables living beings to survive and adapt within today’s dire straits, particularly the challenge to ecosystems that climate change poses and the ascendency of corporations over citizens in many countries.
In addition to his work on vocals, guitar, ukulele, and piano, a cast of musicians joins Mike Love on his latest studio album. Of theses 11 songs featured, collaborators include Sam Ites on drums, Jon Hawes on bass, Keith Tsukamaki and Jorell Nacapuy on keyboards, Reggie Padilla on saxophone, Deshannon Higa on trumpet, with Kelli Heath-Cruz as engineer. The albums final track, the title track, features the talented trio of Paula Fuga, Trevor Hall & Nahko

Collie Buddz – Blue Dream EP
Release Date: September 4th
This month Collie Buddz follows a string of successful one-off singles and collaborations with his latest release, an EP titled Blue Dreamz. A seven-track project available via Louder Than Life/Sony Music this album was produced with the help of Johnny Wonder and Supa Dups. Delivering delight to patient Collie fans worldwide, Blue Dreamz quenches the thirst for new music and leaves fans wishing it was summer year round.

Mishka – Roots Fidelity
Release Date: September 18th
Mishka’s Roots Fidelity is the artist’s seventh full length album and the first for his own Mishka Music imprint. A project inspired by his passion for Roots Reggae Music, Roots Fidelity is a return to the more traditional singer songwriter smooth reggae style that gained Mishka thousands of fans around the world. Working with Prince Fatty, the album contains 12 tracks and is made up of mostly new songs, and a few older ones, re-recorded in a roots style.

Rebelution – Count Me In Acoustic
Release Date: September 18th
Count Me In
, originally released via Easy Star Records/87 Music in June 2014, the album was Billboards top selling reggae album in 2014. Following January’s release of the Count Me In Remix EP, this month the group has released their highly anticipated acoustic version of the record. Titled Count Me In Acoustic this release features 11 tracks via the band’s own 87 Music.

Bob Marley – The Complete Island Recordings Box Sets
Release Date: September 25th
Shop for the holidays early? Here’s the perfect gift for anyone who loves reggae! UME has released of two new box sets, The Complete Island Recordings and The Complete Island Recordings: Collector’s Edition. These two vinyl collection sets, available September 25th, will feature eleven albums on 180-gram vinyl spanning a decade’s worth of Bob Marley & The Wailers iconic releases on Island Records.
The Complete Island Recordings: Collector’s Edition includes 11LPs on 180 gram vinyl, a vinyl slip mat and two photos in glassine envelopes, all packaged in a unique hinged top metal box set to emulate a classic lighter, numbered and lined with velvet. Only 3000 Collector’s Editions have been made for the world.
The box includes the following nine Bob Marley & The Wailers studio albums recorded for Island Records: Catch A Fire, Burnin’, Natty Dread, Live!, Rastaman Vibration, Exodus, Babylon By Bus, Kaya, Survival, Uprising and Confrontation.
