Seven Suns has teamed up with Cas Haley to put a new spin on their fan favorite track “Run It Back.”
Originally released on Seven Suns’ 2024 debut album Many Feathers, “Run It Back” took off in the band’s home state of Hawaii before exploding internationally. Here, Texas-based Haley — known for his breakout run on America’s Got Talent — adds his own distinctive twang to the tune. The rendition maintains the charm of the original song, but seamlessly combines the sounds of reggae and country into a new and exciting blend.
The new version of “Run it Back” continues a busy period for Seven Suns. The group recently had a massive night at the N? H?k? Hanohano Awards, Hawaii’s premiere music honors, with six wins including the categories of Reggae Album of the Year, Single of the Year, Music Video of the Year, and Group of the Year.
The band will play a one-off date in Honolulu this weekend before heading out for an extended run opening for Collie Buddz in August. Tour dates can be found below.
