Skunk Records, the previous home of legendary acts like Sublime, Slightly Stoopid and Long Beach Dub Allstars, has signed a worldwide distribution deal with Suburban Noize Records. Suburban Noize, home of Kottonmouth Kings, Big B, and Unwritten Law, will handle merchandising and marketing for Skunk Records current roster, including Toko Tasi, Philieano, and former Lordz of Brooklyn member Paulie Nugent.
“I’ve been doing shows and promotions with, Sub Noize president Kevin Zinger, for almost 15 years now,” says Skunk Records CEO Michael “Miguel” Happoldt. “He’s always understood what we were about and has created a monster of an independent label that is a perfect fit for us at this time. We are all really thankful and stoked about our future together.”
Paulie Nugent’s Late night Stereo will be the first album released under this new arrangement with Philieano’s Holy Homework and Toko Tasi’s Spiritual Life to follow.
