Slightly Stoopid has announced a limited edition re-issue of their “Live At Robertos” TRI Studios 9.13.11 on Vinyl. This record was originally released on limited edition purple vinyl for Record Store Day back on July 17th, 2021. Now the reissue will include a new variant scheduled on the 11 year anniversary of the original recording this September 13th, 2022.
“Live at Roberto’s” TRI Studios 9.13.11 will be released on limited edition 12″ vinyl. The 4-piece set features the Acoustic Set in Deep Purple Vinyl with Black Smoke (Discs A&B) and the Electric Set in Clear Vinyl with Black Smoke (Discs C&D). The session was originally recorded live at Bob Weir’s TRI Studios on September 13, 2011, and features special guests Bob Weir, Karl Denson, Don Carlos, Ivan Neville & Ian Neville, and was hosted by the legendary Tommy Chong.
The set includes stripped down and intimate live performances of “Closer To The Sun”, “Wiseman”, “Devil’s Door”, “Know You Rider” (featuring Bob Weir) and many more. Funny man Tommy Chong co-hosted the session and supplied some of his legendary “wisdom”.
