Following the independent success and release of 2014’s Apocalypse Whenever, the 6 piece reggae dance party out of Boston, MA known as Spiritual Rez will enter the studio for their next album…
The next yet-to-be-titled album will be the result of a full blown production with Producer Kenny Carkeet of AWOLNATION out at Jim Kaufman Productions in Los Angeles, CA. This is the same studio that brought the most recent Anti-Flag record and inside this studio was a featured guest appearance by Max Collins of EVE 6.
“Having people who have number 1 hits look at us and understand that we need to transfer our unique live energy onto our next album; that’s just a blessing and a half. It was so easy and fun to begin this process” says (drummer) Ian “Meat” Miller.
Sure to be one of The Pier’s Most Anticipated Albums for 2016, the release is scheduled for next Summer, but there appears to be more exciting news coming out of the studio that The Pier will get to the bottom of in an upcoming interview with the band.
This news comes on the heels of their most recent music video for the track “One Big Song” off 2014’s Apocalypse Whenever. You can view the video below as its a fun watch with a unique way to present the lyrics in addition to blending it with some fun live footage of their shows.
