Stick Figure’s South American Debut

For the first time in their storied career, Stick Figure has been building a movement—one rooted in dub-heavy grooves and a fiercely loyal global fanbase.

But in May 2025, the California-based reggae powerhouse unlocked a brand-new chapter in their journey by performing live in South America for the very first time. With back-to-back shows in Santiago, Chile, and São Paulo, Brazil, the band crossed hemispheres and borders to deliver their hypnotic live experience to fans who had been waiting years for the chance.

This wasn’t just another stop on the Island Holiday Tour—this was a landmark moment in Stick Figure’s history, proof that their rise has gone fully international. From the Andes to the Atlantic, South American fans showed up in full force, welcoming the band with open arms and open hearts.

Santiago, Chile – A Warm Welcome

Stick Figure’s South American debut began on May 23 at the historic Teatro Coliseo in Santiago. The venue was buzzing with energy as longtime fans gathered to witness a performance that had been a long time coming.

The band shared their excitement on Instagram, writing, “First time in South America… and what a welcome. Thank you, Chile!”

Their setlist was stacked with fan favorites, including “Weight of Sound,” “Smokin’ Love,” and “World on Fire.” Each track landed with undeniable power, their signature blend of reggae, dub, and psychedelia washing over the crowd.

São Paulo, Brazil – A High-Energy Finale

Two nights later, on May 25, Stick Figure took the stage at Terra SP in São Paulo. The Brazilian crowd wasted no time showing love. Hands were in the air, lyrics were shouted back, and the band matched that intensity with a high-energy performance that included songs from their latest album Wisdom, along with timeless tracks like “Fire on the Horizon” and “Sound of the Sea.”

The band’s Instagram post after the show said it all: “Brazil was wild. Obrigado São Paulo!”

A Milestone for Cali Reggae

Stick Figure’s first time in South America is more than just a cool passport stamp. It’s a moment that reflects the global reach of the California reggae scene and the slow-burn success story that Stick Figure continues to write.

Led by multi-instrumentalist and producer Scott Woodruff, the band has remained independent while selling out amphitheaters, headlining festivals, and amassing millions of streams—all without major label backing.

Now, they’ve made their mark on a new continent.

What’s Next?

As the Island Holiday Tour rolls on, fans across Europe and North America are next in line. But this South American run will go down as a milestone moment—for the band, for their fans, and for modern reggae as a whole.
