New Zealand reggae heavyweights, The Black Seeds have announced their return to North America for a short spring tour. In April, The Black Seeds will travel north along the west coast up past the Canadian border, through Colorado, and will end in New York. Furthermore, the tour will support the release of their highly anticipated fifth original album, Dust and Dirt on Easy Star Records.
The Release of Solid Ground in 2009 boosted The Black Seeds’ status as a band primarily down under to a band that is recognized throughout the world. The band brags that this will be their finest work yet, spending the last 18 months in their recording cave in Wellington, New Zealand. Along with the release of Dust and Dirt, the indie-label Easy Star Records will reissue their back catalog as well. The Black Seed’s albums will now be available in physical form in the United States.
