Made up of Donald “Tabby” Shaw, Fitzroy “Bunny” Simpson and Lloyd “Judge” Ferguson, make up Kingston, Jamaica natives, The Mighty Diamonds. Formed in 1969, these guys have over 40 albums to date and have helped introduce reggae music to the world through their use of choreographed shows and smooth Motown harmonies.
Just less then a month ago, the Harmony Trio, released an entire reggae anthology collection for their fans. Released by 17 North Parade, it will include 2 CDs with 39 tracks from throughout their many studio albums, as well some of the groups classic hits, including some that are for the first time available on CD, as well as four previously unreleased dubplate exclusive tracks. On top of all the music, they will be including a 25-minute DVD from the Reggae Sun Splash Concert from 1989.
As well as releasing this awesome anthology collection, The Mighty Diamonds have also released their European tour dates for the fall. It will include about 10 dates throughout the United Kingdom, before heading to the United States, with dates to follow.
