The Next Pier Regional Sampler!

The Next Pier Regional Sampler!

That’s right everyone! We here are The Pier are committed to creating awareness about the music we all love & enjoy. Since before The Pier’s inception in 2007, the Reggae-Rock community has grown from what use to be considered a SoCal scene, to today’s international movement.

You can thank Sublime for most of the SoCal association with the Reggae-Rock sound (and rightfully so). But since the early days of Sublime, the style & genre of this music has caught on and blended with the influences of present day up & coming artists, who are adding to the life of the sound. Be it hip hop, r&b, ska, roots to punk rock, it’s a binding genre that can adapt to most any sound and have a place, be it subtle or abundant.

Now the underground clubs are packed shoulder to shoulder to watch the next group play their reggae music with a set list that includes covers of Bob Marley & Sublime. On the mainstream markets, you have groups with music on soundtracks in major motion pictures to playing live on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno or Jimmy Kimmel.

As the Reggae-Rock community flourishes (both on the underground & mainstream), we at The Pier are excited to share NEW Music from a New Region with our next FREE Regional Pier Sampler! In doing our job as a collective unit in creating awareness on new music, our last 2 Regions consisted of the Pacific Northwest & Pacific Islands. With over 10,000 downloads from each of the last 2 samplers, we’re expecting this next one to be our biggest yet.

We’ll Announce The Next Region on April 19th

Nothing but FREE music from your neighborhood Pier. Come back Thursday April 19th as we’re excited to share the next Region for our FREE Sampler. Thanks again to everyone for the continued love & support! Lets continue to build this community.
