The Nowell Family Foundation: A Legacy of Healing

The Nowell Family FoundationFounded in honor of Bradley Nowell, the late frontman of Sublime, the Nowell Family Foundation has been dedicated to helping musicians and artists struggling with addiction. Their mission is exemplified through Bradley’s House, a nonprofit recovery facility designed specifically for musicians in need of rehabilitation. Events like A Sublime Life Sobriety Festival not only raise awareness for addiction recovery but also provide a welcoming environment where music and wellness go hand in hand.

About the Foundation

For years, the Nowell family has sought ways to help others avoid the tragedy of drug overdose. While working with longtime family friend Todd “Z-Man” Zalkins, who helped, Bradley’s son, Jakob Nowell get clean and sober, the plan to create the Nowell Family Foundation evolved. As Papa Nowell says, “We have finally found something we truly believe in doing – and that’s helping others who are struggling with addiction.” Bradley,’s sister, Kellie, who is actively involved as the executive director, is dedicated to the growth of the Foundation and to ensuring its stability, allowing it to serve others for many years to come.
