San Diego, CA’s own Thicker Than Thieves have announced their Spring Tour, presented by Canna. The tour extends from east & west coast, sponsored by Black Flys Sunglasses.
In 2000, Thicker Than Thieves started out playing beach parties and small bars in Pacific Beach when people really started taking notice of their live performances, “There really wasn’t anyone in San Diego at that time who was doing what we were doing, mixing reggae, ska and punk rock other than Sublime and Buck-O-Nine,” says Thicker Than Thieves vocalist Jamin Hazelaar. 
Between 2002 and 2007, the group 2 full length albums and a single titled “Respect” featuring English Dance-Hall great, Tippa Irie. In 2012 TTT finished up a successful, well-received Costa Rican tour with Fortunate Youth and Ikaika Beamer.
In November of 2012, Thicker Than Thieves released their latest 5 track Storm Will Pass EP. Two of the songs off the EP were produced by Michael “Miguel” Happoldt (Skunk Records, Sublime). They include a Clash cover “Guns of Brixton” as well as the original track, “Not Alone”. “Guns of Brixton” you can download for FREE inside our MP3 Massive by clicking HERE.
The other tracks, “Storm Will Pass”, “Stronger”, and “Diamonds” were produced and recorded at 17th Street Recording Studio in Costa Mesa, CA with Producer Lew Richards. The band is continuing to write and record what will soon be their third full-length CD to be released in Fall of 2013.
TTT has shared the stage with many internationally well-known acts including, Israel Vibrations, Toots and the Maytals, Bad Brains, Everlast, Buck-O-Nine, Slightly Stoopid, Pato Banton, Wailing Souls, Eek-A-Mouse, Pepper and The Expendables to name a few.
Moving forward to present date and you can find Thicker Than Thieves on the road as soon as March 14th, before wrapping up their 24 date tour May 10th. View the dates below as the groups tours from west, to east and back west again…
