Tribal Seeds: Representing 2014 Spring Tour

Tribal Seeds: Representing 2014 Spring Tour

As the New Year is upon us, many bands are heading out on their winter tours and also announcing tour dates for the spring. Tribal Seeds is one such band that is hard at work all year round. Recently, they announced the Representing – 2014 Spring Tour with New Kingston and Inna Vision!

This nationwide tour includes 34 dates beginning at the end of February and ending in the middle of April. The 3 bands on this tour will be “Representing” just how diverse and huge the reggae scene has become in the United States. While Tribal Seeds will represent for San Diego and the West Coast, New Kingston is based out of Brooklyn, New York and Inna Vision will be joining the two all the way from the island of Hawaii.

Koa Lopes, bassist and vocals for Inna Vision, explained how the band first connected with Tribal Seeds. “We linked up in Hawaii back in 2007 and been like family ever since. Our very first tour ‘Cali Kush & Maui Wowie Tour’ was with Tribal Seeds on the West Coast back in 2008. A lot of the shows didn’t have too many people and now to see them selling out shows across the country is a blessing. We’ll both get to experience how much we’ve all grown since then musically and spiritually. They are a bunch of great guys to be around and have always taken good care of us.”

Inna Vision is currently working on their 4th studio album to be released this summer. In the meantime, they will be dropping the 3-track “Find A Way EP” in February as a preview to the full-length. After the success on their nationwide tour with Fortunate Youth in 2013, the band is very eager to get back to touring and spreading the island vibes across the nation once again.

2014 has just begun and the Reggae music community is showing no signs of slowing down! Stay posted with The Pier as we have some big announcements of our own in the New Year!
