Southern California’s Tunnel Vision is back with a brand-new single, “This is My Life,” out today, May 30, via LAW Records.
Produced by and featuring fellow SoCal artist DENM, the track showcases a smooth mix of surfy guitar lines, hip-hop-inspired grooves, and a gritty vocal delivery that doesn’t sugarcoat a thing. Behind the mix is Grammy-winning producer Cameron Webb, known for his work with P.O.D., Alkaline Trio, and Sum 41, giving the single a crisp, dynamic edge.
“This is My Life” hits with a sense of confidence and clarity—an unapologetic reflection of personal freedom and creative independence. Tunnel Vision has always walked the line among surf pop, punk rock, and cali reggae. This track keeps that balance sharp while bringing DENM’s melodic sensibilities into the fold. The collaboration feels natural, like a jam session between old friends, but the production is tight and purposeful.
The single is the first preview of a larger project Tunnel Vision is working on with Webb, which promises to push the band further without losing the raw, beach-town spirit that’s made them a favorite in the West Coast reggae and punk scenes.
Based out of San Clemente, Tunnel Vision broke through with their self-titled debut in 2015 and have since become road-tested veterans, touring nationally and building a loyal fanbase across surf towns and summer festivals. Their home at LAW Records—a label started by Pepper and known for championing bands with DIY grit—only strengthens their place in the current wave of California reggae and alt-rock.
“This is My Life” is out now on all streaming platforms. Turn it up loud, and don’t be surprised if it ends up on repeat.
