These 6 shows include live performances, photos and set-lists of Slightly Stoopid, Dirty Heads, Stick Figure, J Boog, Mike Pinto, The Hot Rain Band a long with Rootfire at the Beach in addition to Wakarusa and NW Roots festivals…

It’s been a fantastic summer as our spring was just as busy as you can read from our past series of concert articles by clicking HERE! Since June, we’ve covered 6 events across 4 states with 2 of those events being festivals.   • For the past three years now, over the months of May and June, The Pier has set out across the US to attend several of the most notable music festivals of the summer.     Venue: Nectar Lounge. Fremont, Seattle, Washington

  • Although Mike has previously performed with members of the Slightly Stoopid horns section, he does just as well on his own! Songs that include horns on the recording (like many from the latest album, “Truthful Lies”) still sound great live without a full band. Listening to just Mike play acoustic allows fans to see his true talent and creativity in using an upbeat guitar, soothing voice, and his unique storytelling ability…READ MORE

    Venue: Cooks Farm. Carnation, WA.

  • Cook’s farm is an ideal festival setting on a few acres and one dirt road onto the property. The unforgiving thorns of the blackberry bushes create a natural security fence and a delicious summer snack. Tents and RVs filled the surrounding area around a few food trucks and vendor booths. In true Washington fashion, the beer garden was placed next to the dab booth from Pacific NW Roots and Alchemy Labs. Not surprisingly, parked next to the dab booth were Josh Heinrichs and Skillinjah who were enjoying the scenery, visiting new friends, and killing time before their set later that night…READ MORE
  • Rootfire

    Venue: Avila Beach Resort. Avila Beach, CA

  • The inaugural Rootfire at the Beach was one of the summer’s hottest concerts. Taking place along Avila Beach, California, the mini festival featured the likes of Collie Buddz, Stephen Marley and Tribal Seeds. Talking to Rootfire founder Seth Herman before the event, he stressed the importance of setting and healthy living as inspirations for the festival.   • Stoopid

    Venue: Marymoor Park. Redmond, Washington

  • Everything Is Awesome is part of the ongoing Marymoor Park Concert Series managed by AEG Live. Thanks to Slightly Stoopid, Silverback Music, and Raised Fist Propaganda, The Pier got full access throughout the venue for this amazing show. The Pier’s own Blake Taylor and myself were granted access to the photo pit, backstage, and after-party for the full tour experience.
