On March 1st, 2013 in partnership with Sixthman Productions and Norwegian Cruise Line, 311 will embark on a four night cruise to Great Stirrup Cay with yet another amazing cast of talent onboard!
The luxurious Norwegian Pearl cruise liner will depart from Miami only to hit shore on a private island in the Bahamas for three consecutive nights of not only 311, but sets from some of the most talented names in the reggae-rock scene, as well as a number of DJ’s spinning tracks all over the boat and hilarious comedians to create the best possible vacation environment.
In past years, 311 brought on board a number of awesome acts such as Pepper, The Expendables, Dirty Heads, The Movement, Pato Banton, and Passafire. This year, the line-up includes a wider variety of acts, comedians and DJs. The bill includes several returning favorites, as well as many groups that have never played on with 311 on a boat. After easily selling out every cabin, the long awaited announcement about the acts aboard round three of the 311 Caribbean Cruise, has finally been made.
If you were fortunate enough to purchase your cabin prior to the announcement, knowing 311 would not let you down, CONGRATULATIONS! This appears to be the biggest year of the 311 Cruise yet!
During 311’s annual Unity Tour this past summer, Lead Singer and Guitarist, Nick Hexum described what the cruise entails to The Pier: “Our third one is planned already, and we are not only once again going to play on a private beach on a private island, which we did for the first time on this past cruise…I mean to be able to play right on the beach with all the fans standing waist deep in the water just grooving out, it was a really special reggae influence and summertime set. So, we have another new destination to do something like that again on a new beach, and we will be going on a much nicer and more updated boat on the Norwegian Cruise Line. “
