After opening up the New Year with the release of a new single in “Hit List,” Iration has finally announced that they will release their next album, Iration, on May 18th, 2018.
This album will be made available just in time for their summer tour with Dirty Heads, The Movement and Pacific Dub that also plugs in May 18th. The album is currently available for pre-order with new song “Danger” ft. J Boog and Tyrone’s Jacket being made available upon purchase. There are bundles available that include an Iration hoodie, socks, medium roast coffee, ukulele, and of course the album on vinyl.

As mentioned inside our 2018 Most Anticipated Albums feature, this will be the groups 5th studio record with a direction of sound that is said to be channeled through their influences. The album will have 15+ songs and include three stylistically different guest vocalists that all apparently smashed their respective parts. The album was produced with David “King David” Manzoor who has been co-writing and collaborating with the group since 2015’s Hotting Up.
Front-man Micah Pueschel tells The Pier: “We were really striving to get our fans and listeners as much new material as possible with this record, especially considering how much time we’ve been spending in the studio recently… We basically tried to make an album that paid homage to all of our influences. Obviously there are many, from multiple genres of music. Reggae, rock, pop, hip hop, R&B, motown etc. People will be able to listen and try to pick up which of our influences are coming through. It’s going to be very eclectic in that way. We have always said, ‘we don’t really care what genre of music we are making, we just want to make good songs.’ I think this album is a direct result of letting the songs guide us.”
