The Dirty Heads’ Next Single!

Huntington Beach, California’s own Reggae-Rock-Acoustic veterans, The Dirty Heads, are preparing to debut their latest single and accompanying official music video from their summer 2012 release, Cabin by the Sea. Along with the latest single, a spring tour through the states and a trip to South America are on the horizon for 2013!

After The Dirty Heads concluded a successful late summer, early fall tour with Matisyahu, the Southern California band anticipated a successful tour through Brazil with Sublime with Rome. However, due to logistical issues with the venues and promoters in Brazil, the tour was called off prior to the bands boarding their flights to the southern hemisphere.

Needless to say, The Dirty Heads have remained active, playing festival dates in the United States to concluded 2012, and have already begun production on their latest music video. After premiering the sound for their summertime release of Cabin by the Sea with the single “Spread Too Thin”, followed by a collaborative track with Matisyahu titled, “Dance All Night”, The Dirty Heads will now be releasing their third single from Cabin by the Sea, with the album’s title track.

Video production for the single has already begun, and the ideal setting for the shoot’s “Cabin by the Sea” was none other than the majestic coastline of California. The Dirty Heads previously utilized a picturesque San Louis Obispo beachside home to record parts of “Spread Too Thin”, while filling footage of stressful and disgusting, yet somehow humorous, day jobs that push one to the edge. No matter where the video takes place, The Dirty Heads always deliver with their unique flavor, uplifting music and comedic undertones to entertain their fans, both visually and musically.

The Dirty Heads will be coming to a town near you this spring on the Odyssey Tour, along with supporting acts Shiny Toy Guns, Midi Matilda and the Oh No Fiasco. The nationwide tour will begin on February 13th, 2013 in Dallas, Texas at the House of Blues. With the tour running through the middle of March, the United States’ “heartland” will receive the pounding beats of The Dirty Heads and company, as well as tour stops in New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Massachusetts, among other east coast states.

Following the conclusion of the Odyssey Tour on March 9th in Colorado Springs, The Dirty Heads will rest, recover and reenergize for seven shows in ten days throughout the country of Brazil. The aforementioned South American tour with Sublime with Rome, ironed out the details of the tour. This will be The Dirty Heads first appearance in Brazil, however, Matt “Matty O” Ochoa will be making his second trip to Brazil, sitting in for Bud Gaugh in 2011 during Sublime with Rome’s then-second time in South America.
