The female, Hawaiian breakout singer/songwriter, Anuhea, has just announced plans for a full-length national tour this coming spring! The tour will feature fellow Hawaiian solo-acoustic artist, Justin Young. Get your maps and calendars out to find the location and dates near you!
Anuhea is no longer new to the United States touring circuit, after sharing the stage with SOJA across the country earlier in 2012, then a lengthy summer nationwide tour with Bermuda’s Mishka and Orange County, California’s Micah Brown, as well as playing a supporting role on Rome Ramirez of Sublime with Rome’s first ever solo national tour. All the while, Anuhea is performing live in support of her 2012 Valentine’s Day release, For Love.
Anuhea’s Spring Tour 2013 will feature fellow Hawaiian solo artist, Justin Young, an acoustic, soul and pop artist. The two styles should mesh ideally for a live performance to corral the crowd’s amusement throughout each show.
The kickoff date for the tour will be March 5th in Sacramento, California at Harlow’s Nightclub. Although, that show might be a warm-up for the legendary Roxy Theatre on Sunset Boulevard two nights later. In the tour’s entirety, there will be 18-dates in 33-days, spanning both coasts and the United States’ “Heartland” in between.
Additionally, Anuhea was just added to the Wakarusa Festival lineup in Ozark, Arkansas, which will also feature the likes of Snoop Lion, formerly known as Snoop Dogg, SOJA, Rebelution, J Boog, The Green and Jon Wayne and the Pain.
Aside from the huge, three-day music and camping festival known as Wakarusa, most of Anuhea’s tour dates will take place at intimate club environments, a perfect opportunity to see one of the most talented solo artists in the reggae-rock-acoustic scene!
