The BeachLife Festival returned to Redondo Beach May 1–3, 2026, with one of its most dynamic and well-rounded lineups to date, reinforcing its status as a cornerstone festival in Southern California. Headliners including Duran Duran, Slightly Stoopid, The Chainsmokers, The Offspring, and James Taylor anchored a weekend that drew a truly cross-generational crowd. ![]()
That diversity was evident from the moment gates opened each day. Longtime fans turned out early for legacy acts like James Taylor and Joan Jett, while younger audiences packed the barricades for artists like The Chainsmokers and My Morning Jacket. Rather than feeling segmented, the crowd blended into a unified atmosphere, something BeachLife continues to do better than most festivals.
Ideal socal weather elevated the experience throughout the weekend. Clear skies and a steady ocean breeze created a laid-back environment that encouraged fans to settle in for the full day, moving between stages without urgency and fully embracing the beachfront setting.
Sunday proved to be a standout. Despite last-minute schedule adjustments, organizers adapted quickly, communicated updates clearly to attendies, and kept the energy consistent across the grounds. What could have disrupted the day instead showed how smoothly the festival can operate in real time.

One of the weekend’s defining moments came from Slightly Stoopid, whose set, packed with guest appearances and fan favorites, stood out as a clear high point and a perfect fit for the BeachLife atmosphere.
Beyond the music, BeachLife continued to lean into its community impact. This year’s festival helped raise more than $150,000 for a range of local and national nonprofits through its charity gala, silent auction, and ongoing partnerships. That element has become a core part of the festival’s identity, adding a layer of purpose that matches the laid-back coastal setting.
With record-breaking attendance and more than 40,000 fans across the weekend, BeachLife 2026 continued its upward trajectory while staying rooted in the mix of comfort, community, and coastal culture that defines it.
Balancing legacy talent with contemporary crowd pullers in an unmatched oceanfront setting, BeachLife once again proved why it remains one of the most consistent and thoughtfully curated festival experiences in Southern California.
